What we are / Objectives
KADNON serves as a qualified independent anti-discrimination agency for the Northeast Lower Saxony region.
We support people who have experienced or witnessed discrimination and offer a safe environment for discussion and the development of coping strategies and solutions.
Our approach is intersectional: We address different characteristics (e.g. ethnic origin, gender, religion, disability, sexual identity, etc.) as well as multiple discrimination.
Offers / Services

Counseling for experiences of discrimination: in person, by phone, online or in writing.

Education, awareness-raising and training/workshops for multipliers, institutions and the public.

Support in the establishment of municipal anti-discrimination networks in several districts (e.g. Lüneburg, Uelzen, Heidekreis, Lüchow-Dannenberg) as a model.

Added value / Special
KADNON ensures that those affected do not remain alone, but receive support through various channels (legal, psychological, and strategic). Through networking and educational work, the center contributes to raising awareness of discrimination, challenging existing structures, and promoting a more inclusive region in the long term.
