LADG Ombudsman's Office
Short presentation
The LADG Ombudsman's Office is the central advice and arbitration center for discrimination in the state of Berlin. Established in 2020, it is located within the State Office for Equal Treatment – Against Discrimination of the Berlin Senate. The Ombudsman's Office advises and supports citizens in enforcing their rights under the Berlin State Anti-Discrimination Act (LADG).
The Ombudsman's Office offers an independent, free, and confidential assessment of your case as part of an initial consultation. The Ombudsman's Office can mediate with the public authority if the affected party so wishes. We will decide whether discrimination has occurred and whether we will mediate based on the requirements of the LADG (Law on Discrimination in the Discrimination Against Discrimination Act).
