AGG Basics introductory workshop for anti-discrimination consultants (fully booked)

This online workshop offers a Introduction to the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG) for Anti-Discrimination Consultants The aim of the workshop is to understand the basics of the AGG and to be able to make an initial assessment of the AGG relevance of consultation cases.

Contents of this workshop will be: Origin of the AGG and differentiation from other laws, areas of application of the AGG, protected discrimination characteristics, forms of discrimination using examples, legal deadlines, initial practical information on the burden of proof, practical exercise using a case study.

Note: This workshop is divided into two parts. The first part (10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.) will be a lecture in the webinar and will be recorded. During the webinar, only the speaker, the moderator and the presentation will be visible. Participants will have the opportunity to ask written questions between the content blocks. The second part (13:00 p.m. - 14:00 p.m.) will take place in the normal Zoom format and will not be recorded. In this part, the practical exercise will be carried out in small groups (break-out sessions) and then discussed together in the large group. Registration for just one of the two parts is not possible.
