Awareness in the event sector

Date: 21.01.2025 at 18: 00 - 20:00 Cost: Free

What is awareness actually and what added value does the concept have for events?

Social power relations also have an impact in the context of events. The consequences are that visitors, organizers, employees and artists can experience boundary violations, (sexualized) violence and discriminatory exclusion. Awareness is a practice of solidarity that provides affected people with appropriate structures to support them when they experience discrimination.

On January 21.01.2025, 18 from 00:20 p.m. to 00:381 p.m. we invite event organizers of all kinds to 41 (Friedrich-Wilhelm-Straße XNUMX, Braunschweig) to find out more about the topic of awareness. We have various speakers on stage with experience of awareness structures at events.

In short lectures with the opportunity for questions, the following topics will be addressed:

– Introduction to Awareness Structures: Basics and the importance of awareness in the event industry
– Practical application: How can awareness structures be used at events to create a safe and respectful environment for all guests.
– Benefits for the event: What positive effects can a strong awareness culture have on visitor satisfaction?

The event is free and no registration is required.
