Workshop on securing evidence in AD consulting

Date: 16.10.2024 at 10: 00 - 14:00 Cost: Free

This online workshop deals with the question of securing evidence in the context of AD counseling. The question of whether a person who has been discriminated against will win in court depends crucially on the evidence. Section 22 of the AGG regulates a so-called relief from the burden of proof. What does this mean and how does the burden of proof regulation work in practice? How can people seeking advice influence the evidence and how can counseling centers support them in this? Among other things, testing will be presented as a method for collecting evidence. The workshop will cover:

• § 22 AGG

• Basics of Evidence Law

• securing evidence

• Testing (overview)

The workshop will be led by Kerstin Kühn. Kerstin Kühn is a lawyer and worked for many years as an anti-discrimination consultant at the TBB's Berlin anti-discrimination network.
